Vilnius
Uzupis/Paupys - former historic suburban area of Vilnius old town –
needs regeneration and development in the sense of economy, environment
and community. The signs of development of the area are evident.

sustainable growth. At present Vilnius municipality has not enough human
and financial resources to concentrate on the intensive development of
Uzupis/Paupys. That is why involvement and support of private sector is
crucial.
