The Experiences

Several reports have been made on different housing issues and more knowledge on how to unite flats has been collected. A lot of work has been done to rase fundings so that Kongens Enghave would gain bigger flats and this work has resulted in extra funding. In 2002 the Housing Partnership also conducted a research among chairmen on what impact Kvarterløft and the urban renewal have had on the different types of housings in Kongens Enghave. This research showed that the tenants in Kongens Enghave are positive about creating bigger flats and they are also positive regarding the future development of Kongens Enghave in general also after Kvarterløft.

The experience of the Housing Partnership is that it can be difficult to establish such a partnership between very different participants, but at the same time the partnership shows that it can be worth the trouble and that it can be possible to reach solutions in common interest.
