The Waste Disposal Project in Kongens Enghave

In Kongens Enghave, the Kvarterløft project, several non-profit housing societies, The Waste Disposal Company of 1898 (R98) and the Environmental Control Authority have joined forces in an unconventional partnership in a waste disposal project. Under this project, the residents separate their waste into nine fractions, which can all be disposed of directly in the courtyard waste bins and containers. The caretakers of the various housing estates play a central role in the project. The local council in Kongens Enghave was also a partner in The Waste Disposal Project until by the end of 2001 it was closed down.
