Urban ecology

The waste disposal projects have also contributed to new types of co-operation. Urban ecology has also affected urban renewal in Kvarterløft projects. In terms of ecological solutions Kvarterløft projects have offered good possibilities of a closer dialogue with the local residents. In the future the experiences from The Waste Disposal Project may well be used to form and develop the waste disposal system in Copenhagen at a larger scale.
