The daily work

The Waste Disposal Company of 1898 (R98) is responsible for the waste disposal in the city of Copenhagen and is participating in the Waste Disposal Project. From 1999 to 2002 they had an employee in the secretariat in the Kvarterløft Project in Kongens Enghave to implement the project. Thus this employee has been responsible for the Waste Disposal Project regarding the daily work and this employee has functioned as well as a connection for the different partners. The Green Guide in Kongens Enghave has worked together with the representative from the R98.

It has been useful for The Waste Disposal Project to have this connection for the communication between the municipality of Copenhagen and the local agents in Kongens Enghave. But there have been some problems concerning this communication while the municipality of Copenhagen has not been too eager to participate in local hearings about the project. The recommendations of the project therefore are to have accurate descriptions of each participant's role in the partnership before starting of such a project. This must include the ones who are going to be responsible for the different parts of the project.
