| Case Studies The Danish Neighbourhood Regeneration Programme. Kvarterløft in Copenhagen
Partnerships – shared ownership
The regeneration programme in Denmark is inspired by Scotland, Germany and the Netherlands. One of the inspirations from Scotland has been the partnerships and Kongens Enghave has also been influenced by this. The Kongens Enghave regeneration programme works in lots of cross-sectoral partnerships. Some of them are:
-
The housing partnership (The secretariat, the municipality of Copenhagen, the housing sector etc).
-
The waste disposal partnership (The housing sector, the waste deposal company, the local council)
-
The social partnership called Sydhavnscompagniet (The housing sector, a voluntary organisation, the local council etc).
Working in partnership has been a success. Time is costly, people are busy, so this is only happening because each partner finds it useful.
