Who participates in Kvarterløft in Copenhagen?

Kvarterløft is a partnership in which the local stakeholders in a neighbourhood co-operate on laying down the framework for the development of the neighbourhood. There are, of course, already a number of institutions and organisations that do much work in the local neighbourhoods.

But the most important participants are the local residents of the neighbourhoods. Not everyone participates – and for many reasons. It is important from the municipality point of view that participation is voluntary. In many cases the role of the local project staff is to help balance the different local views.
