From idea to reality

The development in Copenhagen so far shows that it takes time to implement a local clarification process and the dialogue with the municipality. There is a long way from the first slender ideas via project development to the final implementation of the ideas. Therefore, the former Ministry of Urban and Housing Affairs granted the three Copenhagen Kvarterløft projects 2 more years to finish the work. This has, in particular, been necessary in relation to the large construction projects, because the planning process has often taken longer than expected. As a result of the experience gained, the new Kvarterløft projects run for a 7-year period – i.e. two years longer than the original duration of the first three Kvarterløft projects.
