ABOUT ENSURE

Exchange Network for Sustainable Urban Revitalisation Experience is established as an umbrella site to provide - when completed in its initial shape at the end of year 2000 - a resource guide and forum to urban neighbourhoods considering, planning or implementing revitalisation programmes.

This site will so far host information on projects based on integrated cross-sectoral planning approach through co-operation of a full spectrum of urban revitalisation stakeholders: from public authorities, area managers and planners to local residents, business and their organisations. The process and proceeds of these projects will contribute to eventual establishment of the ENSURE.org site in a form of a public portal to sustainable urban revitalisation resources and a conduit to networking and exchange of experience among interested partners of the network, open to all interested parties worldwide.

Innovative Urban Planning and Management (IUPM) is the first project to be introduced on this site and to provide essential contribution to development of these objectives.
